Chicago Architecture Tour
Umm Hell Yesss! Where but to go on a boat tour to look at iconic architecture which is the home of Frank Lloyd Wright who was part of the revolution which said this is our America. We are original. We do not need to copy the architecture of Europe we need to make our own style and when you're on a boat tour it's akin to Venice with high rises and tour guides that explain the significance of every building and gives you a new appreciation for American Design.
If you assume NYC is representative of American Architecture? Have you never heard of Frank Loyd Wright?

The penultimate way to discover the "Birthplace" of American Architecture is from the Water

If you want to trace the origins of Chicago Architecture? You could blame a cow and hum the old tune:
"Old Mother Leary left her lantern in the shed, then winked her eye and said There'll be a hot time in the old town tonight" but it was the rebuilding of a wooden city after the 1871 fire which gave America its first "Original" architecture and no longer looked to Europe or New York for Inspiration, and as architects now flooded the city one Frank Lloyd Wright made his mark.

The Fulton "River District" is now dotted with high end apartment buildings, and is the most northeast corner of the "West Loop.

My personal favorite on the River Tour? The frivolous "Corn Cob" Buildings. Who takes 20 of 60 Stories of prime Real Estate and uses it for parking? I ain't judging: I'm just saying...LOL

No Joke. Like all things Trump? The building isn't Trump "owned" it's simply branded.

Though you can get a good perspective of the architecture of Chicago from the water if you really want to get a "feel" for the streets? Then you'll have to abandon your sea legs and use them to walk! Grab a cup of California's Peet's Coffee and then of Course munch on some authentic Chicago Pizza!

Once you're fueled up on coffee and Pizza? Don't miss contemporary Buildings on Chicago River North!

No Matter what city you find yourself in the world? Remember whatever your religion? Whatever you do for the least of your brothers?

Much Respect for a "Minor Prophet" Tupac Amaru Shakur? You Are APPRECIATED!
