Not lost on me is the irony that I had a spiritual experience in a Rockefeller church in the "Burned Over" district of New York
From the outside it appears the "Union" Church is less about religion and more about art, history and preservation.
From the outside the little Rockefeller place looked unassuming
The only reason I thought of checking the place out was because I had a deep conversation with a young New York runner in the Rockefeller State Park Preserve and told him as a California native I found it ironic that the Rockefeller family "deeded" over 1,600 acres to the State of New York in 1983 when John D. Rockefeller bought 86,000 acres in the Hudson Valley in 1893 which is really Mohican and Munsee tribal territory. Somehow in 90 years the Rockefeller's were "giving" New York State something which didn't belong to either entity?
Unlike New York? California acknowledges 110 not just 5 Tribes. As a native Californian with a privileged Oregonian father who misuses land? I get how the Rockefeller's play "philanthropy" games. How unfair is it to force the First People to buy back land from the last people who stole it?
How would I know about people in California stealing land grants into Oregon?

Umm I said of the Will of Samuel Falk not the fraud of his son Michael Falk (a criminal with 21 A.KA.'s) Samuel wouldn't know any Bill Willitts. He died in Florida in 1979, and from his will? Looks like he was doing everything he could to keep Michael Falk away from the Corpus. Good instincts.

I think it was a bit of spirit magic that I told the kind lady selling spots for the tour that I had my dog in the car with the air conditioner running, and that I was only there by serendipity and could I please have a look inside?

He paid one for each panel of nine prophets: The Good Samaritan, The Crucifixion, Joel, Elijah, Daniel, Cherubim, Ezekial, Jeremiah and Isaiah. I believe Chagall's excuse/reason beyond the great payment? He said that Christians and Jews share the Old Testament. To me? The fact that a Rockefeller could score the last work of Matisse, and convince a Jewish Artist to produce nine pieces of art in glass as a memorial? That's a testament to the power that the Rockefeller's wielded in life. I can tell you from my June 3, 2017 the Rockefeller's like myself? Hey we all die alone. I'm guessing the Rockefeller's used a lot of "foundations" to escape taxes, but in the end? It doesn't go with you, you go through it to a whole other space where names don't matter.
