Who thought in the 1890's that NYC's Meat Packing District could be so down right trendy? Who knew the National Biscuit Company (Nabisco) and the Gansevoort Market Historic District wouldn't just be iconic in NYC but that it would end up on the register of National Register of Historic Places?
If your future's so bright that you need shades? I guess you'll fit right into this gentrified New York City "Trendy" hot spot. Working class? Don't be fooled. It's split between those who work for a living and those who live and rent in the area who can afford the sky high residential property. Depending on your perspective? You could say the neighborhood has come a long way.

Cobblestone Streets in NYC? Depends on which block of the MeatPacking District you're on.
Every Block has a "secret history" The Meat Packing district's secret these day's? It's got #tratitude

The meatpacking district is multipurpose. On the surface you could start with what's right under your feet: cobblestone streets that go back 150 years which gives some blocks a Boston vibe. At eye level? Designers shops with clothes which cost so much that some people need to wear them to feel "relevant". If that's you? Then go ahead and pay the dough to look like youAbove all that? Literally? Part of the highland is at your disposal; an elevated park built atop former railroad tracks which is sprouting art, gardens and unforgettable views. Not to be overlooked? The food. Oh the food choices and all within short walking distances on streets that aren't overcrowded with pedestrians and speeding cars. One could say the area is downright hip, slick, and not cool? When you abuse the last name Falk and pack on abuse. Some Falk's get "charged" up.

My father in law Samuel Falk was born in adjacent Hells Kitchen back in 1892 back when the streets had no electricity until 1897 and by the time electricity was "common" in the 1930's? My NYC father in law was a visionary and he had already bought the New York Institute of Photography along with a substantial share of Adams Realty in 1920. Why not beat Durst Real Estate in ingenuity and pick a name based on a fictional family which comes before D in the NYC phone book, and blame Seymour Durst for the National Debt Clock, and you wonder whey Durst son was a mess? Stay tuned to more of my blogs on the Falk Family and the Perlman Family, you know Old New York Families that think they are entitled. Shannon Falk, the wife of Michael Falk, and the successor to the Gertrude Falk Will and protector of my Falk Children? Happy to publicly post all of the Adams Realty NYC lies by your "boss" John R. Perlman. For now?
Let's just say that I'm here David Levy, Principal of Adams to make sure you're held to some principles in life. Do not say that you are thinking ahead 3-5 generations with the money from a guy who's part of the .01% which you are not to "that" class born. You sure ain't a Falk. You weren't born with it, and my children? Hey, luckily they aren't your children. They can't lose their entitlements from the last name they were born with, whereas you can, and so can your children. Maybe you should quit real estate and stop grifting off rich people, get a real job and teach your children how to work for a living?! My children already know how to do that, and I'm that mother who was given Gertrude Falk entitlements in 1992 and my mother and law? If we share one thing? Love and determination. Ask your "boss" Mr. Perlman all about that.

Not so shiny? Real Estate Companies like Adams NYC bad fashioned establishments? Do they have "spotty" male principals without any principles? Where did David Levy graduate? Long Island? By his own account he had little knowledge of New York City Real estate before entering the workforce. Go back then and work dude! You aren't entitled to anything Falk, ask John R Perlman, or did you miss the Falk Federal case with the Bruce Falk Helmsley Spear "affiliation"? Yeah Bruce Falk the guy she didn't much like and removed as her representative along with his wife Donna Lee Flaum A.K.A. Donn L Falk, and who but to replace the Fagin Falk's with but the young trustworthy shiksa?

Nowhere in the Will of Gertrude Falk does she mention John R Perlman, and John Levy? My mother in law had a word for people like you: Shanda!

Color is what makes fashion pop and so I guess you could say the area is definitely "popping"

The Word Groovy and Louis Vuitton usually don't spring to mind, but the beauty of fashion is that it surprises us in unpredictable ways

One of the best things about the Meat Packing district is the selection of dining, and if there's something great after a pandemic in New York City? The Street seating:) Maybe Mr. Levy can slink on down from Adams and eat it. Or better yet? Beat it. Just beat it.

Sublime Sunrises? Free for the Early Birds :)

Are Real Estate Companies like Adams NYC like fashion companies? Do they have "spotty" male principals without any principles who don't study their female history?
Make way for this Female Falk who lives here in New York to remind you men on 411 5th avenue of another lady by the name of Gertrude Falk who existed long before Levy's were in diapers. Us Falk women? A lot of "will" power.
Not groovy? John Levy? The clueless Wisconsin Grad who's claim to fame should be that he was camp counselor who babysat wealthy "children" and I bet you looked after James Buslik's son, Jeff, and then used that to work as a leasing agent for the patriarch, who was a vice president of Helmsley-Spear Inc. Yet another "Falk" affiliated entity.
Let there be a new sunrise in the East. One that honors the Falk ancestors

Meatpacking District New York City
Where the streets are electric the neighborhood in the New York City borough of Manhattan from West 14th Street south to Gansevoort Street and from the Hudson River East to Hudson Street was at one time one of New York City's poorest areas like all areas of the city underwent development and upscaled, but long before commerce of the capitalist nature which New York stands for around the world? This land was Native and belonged to the Lepane who pre colonial had a name for the trading station on the river bank Sapohanikan and if you said that to some New York Socialite or modern day trend setter they would look at you like this was a foreign concept. Conceive of this. Long before the Mayflower sailed over with your people these people the Lepane were here to greet them and I guess they got treated just like a piece of meat, which in case you don't know when you eat your steak was once a cow before it sacrificed its life for you to look significant in your Facebook post when you're dining out and looking oh so fabulous, there have been sacrifices made by animals that become your $200 Steak and the first people who were removed and some like the meat you eat slaughtered at Wounded Knee. Bite on that.
