New Memories in Puerto Rico's Old San Juan
Something New in Old San Juan the last time I had been to Puerto Rico was my Honeymoon in 1989 and I wanted a good remembrance of Puerto Rico and so I decided to start a 20 day Christmas vacation in Old San Juan and make new memories and those have replaced the bad and when I think of Old San Juan now I think of boomba, salsa, and happy music mural filled streets excellent coffee amazing walks on cobblestones something which my marriage wasn't authentic, joyful, happy and carefree what is not to love.

Feeling new in Old San Juan? Heck I wasn't lugging excess baggage of the "ex marido tipo de pez" and I was wide open to anything from Flamenco to Art.

Thirty years after PR was my first stop on a Three Week Caribbean Honeymoon from Hell? I decided I needed to give the island more than a day. Be more like Gertrude Falk my mother in law who'd spent many weeks at a time on the island.
Instead of one night with the fruity "Hombre Viejo y sucio" at the Palace casino that I experienced in 1989? I gave myself 20 days to fully explore PR. Alone!! Whoop Whoop!! I was happy! I had ditched that Hombre Viejo y Sucio. Time for some Bad Bunny and Despecito in Puerto Rico.

The texture and color of Puerto Rico make a lasting impression, so my advice? Get out on those cobblestone streets and walk. You might want to sip a coffee or take in a meal at La Casita if you're feeling pink.

Anywhere you walk the streets? Puerto Rico is proud of its heritage. Fly your freak flag!
